Raystown Dam Open for Tours

First time since 9/11 they're offering tours.
HUNTINGDON, HUNTINGDON COUNTY -- Since 9/11, no one has been able to see inside the Raystown Lake Dam. That is, until today.
The dam is now offering hour-long tours to interested folks in our area. They include access to the spillway, dam and presentations by park rangers on the lake's history and operations. There has been a lot of interest already -- so much that the tours are already booked for the weekend of June 6-9, but they are still taking reservations throughout the summer.
Jude Harrington, a park ranger, said "It's cool down there. There's just a lot of neat things to see. I think the kids will enjoy it the most."
Tours are going on most Fridays through July. You need to reserve a spot by calling 814-658-6809.
