Rage Over Incorrect Fast Food Order Leads to Arrest

Police discovered the suspect is wanted on outstanding charges.
WHITE TOWNSHIP, INDIANA COUNTY – A 22-year-old Indiana County woman was arrested Friday after allegedly causing a scene at a fast food restaurant and on outstanding charges from South Carolina.

According to State Police, Heather Smith of Indiana placed an order at the Burger King along the 1700 block of Oakland Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Friday. Police say Smith became upset when she discovered the order was incorrect and called 9-11, demanding assistance for her wrong order.

While waiting for State Police in the drive-thru lane she allegedly exited her vehicle and engaged in threatening and yelling behavior which caused public alarm.

When State Police arrived they learned Smith is wanted on outstanding charges. Smith was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct for her actions Friday.
