PSU Recruiting Class Moves Up Again

Franklin adds 13th commit for Nittany Lions.
STATE COLLEGE - James Franklin added a 13th recruit to the class of 2015 Saturday in defensive end Jonathan Holland from Maryland.
The group could get even bigger both in numbers and physical size this week when 6-8, 305 lb. offensive tackle Sterling Jenkins announces his college choice Tuesday.
Jenkins is Pennsylvania's top recruit and is down to either the Nittany Lions or Ohio State.
As for the recruiting pitch he uses in general, Franklin said earlier this week it includes the possibility of early playing time.
One thing that's not emphasized much is Penn State's history of putting players in the NFL.
"What we sell is being a true student athlete and chasing both your dreams at the highest level,” Franklin says. “And that's getting a world-class degree and playing football for as long as you can. And if that's the NFL, that's icing on the cake."
Penn State's recruiting class is currently second in the nation according to the 24/7 composite rankings, behind only Alabama.
