UNIVERSITY PARK - Penn State researchers say eating pistachios may reduce your body's response to the stresses of everyday life. Scientists say in adults with diabetes, two servings of pistachios per day lowered the constriction of blood vessels during stress and seemed to improve blood pressure.
Researchers say if the effects continue long term, they could reduce the risk of heart disease in diabetics, a high risk group. Two servings of pistachios amounts to three ounces a day.
