Prosecutor Disputes Portions of Freeh Report

One of the prosecutors in the Jerry Sandusky case is firing back in a CBS 60 Minutes interview.
BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY – One of the lead prosecutors in the state’s case against Jerry Sandusky tells CBS 60 Minutes in an exclusive interview he found no evidence that Joe Paterno was involved in any cover-up.

The statements are in complete disagreement with Louis Freeh, who wrote that Paterno was part of a Sandusky cover-up.

“I do not, and I’m viewing this based on the evidence, not any fealty to anybody, I did not find that evidence,” said Frank Fina, Chief Deputy Attorney for Pennsylvania, during his interview by Armen Keteyian.

The CBS 60 Minutes Sports exclusive interview with the two men who prosecuted Jerry Sandusky airs Wednesday, September 4th at 10 p.m.
