Prepare Your Car for the Cold Weather

Here are a few tips to be sure your car will make it through the cold weather.
STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - It's not just people or animals these freezing temperatures and snow are affecting, it could be damaging for your car, too.

Officials with John Tennis Towing, Inc. in State College, say it's important to check your batteries before any cold weather hits to be sure it's charged.

Also, make sure your tires have good pressure so they can withstand the cold temperatures.

Here are some other things to check and have on hand before hitting the road:
  • Windshield Wipers/Fluid
  • Antifreeze
  • Thermostat
  • Heater
  • Defroster
  • Car Lights
  • Extra blanket/gloves/hats/boots, etc.
  • Kitty litter
