Post-it Payback for Pranking Police Officers

A police patrol car get a huge makeover in a very colorful prank
KANSAS CITY, KANSAS (CNN) - Some of the officers at the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department can be a colorful bunch of people, with a sense of humor.

A birthday prank they played is getting a lot of attention on social media.

On Tuesday, they covered an officer's police car with four-thousand sticky notes to mark his 50th birthday.

It was even color-coordinated: yellow body, blue doors and pink tires.

Officer Stuart Littlefield took it all in stride saying, "They got me good this time. They got me good this time. This was supposed to be a low-key birthday. When you're 50, you don't want anyone to know about it. And that kind of blew up in my face."

The police department says all the work was done off the clock and workers paid for the notes themselves.

Officer Littlefield says once he figures out which exact officers were involved, he will get them back with a practical joke of his own.
