Police Release Images of Theft Suspect

The male suspect stole several items from a local store Wednesday evening.

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY – Police are investigating a theft at Wal-Mart on Benner Pike Wednesday evening, and the suspect was caught on surveillance.

According to police, a college-age white male around 5’8” to 5’10” entered the Wal-Mart around 10:50 p.m. Wednesday and removed several items from the store without paying.

Police say he wore a yellow or orange wristband on his right wrist with a black watch on his left wrist. The suspect left the scene in a light-colored SUV, similar to a Jeep Cherokee.

Anyone with information in identifying the suspect is asked to call State College Police at 814-234-7150. People can also submit an anonymous tip through the web.
