Pitt's Patterson Drafted by Bucks, Traded

Former Panther taken in second round and traded to Atlanta.

NEW YORK - The Milwaukee Bucks selected former University of Pittsburgh guard Lamar Patterson with the 48th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft, the 18th selection of the second round. 

ESPN’s Chad Ford then reported that the pick had been dealt to the Hawks.

Patterson is the sixth Panther selected since Jamie Dixon became head coach at Pitt.

He averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game his senior year.
