Pennsylvania is #5 for Deer Collisions

New numbers show PA drivers have a 1 in 77 chance of hitting deer on the open road.
ALTOONA - New numbers from State Farm Insurance put Pennsylvania at #5 in the U.S. for deer collisions.

According to State Farm's numbers Pennsylvania drivers have a 1 in 77 chance of colliding with deer on the road.

More deer collisions are reported in October, November and December than any other months of the year. November is the peak month for collisions.

State Farm also says average property damage claim runs over $3,000 per deer collision.
