Penn State Alum Killed In Plane Crash

Lewis Katz donated millions to University.
BEDFORD, MASSACHUSETTS - A deadly plane crash in Massachusetts Saturday killed seven people including a graduate from Penn State's Dickinson School of Law.

Lewis Katz was a longtime philanthropist for the university. In 2007, he donated 15 million dollars to the law school, which the university says to this day is one of the biggest single donations they've ever received. Katz also recently purchased the Philadelphia Inquirer and had a stake in a number of professional sports teams. The crash happened Saturday night in Bedford, Massachusetts just after 9:30. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
