PITTSBURGH – David Morehouse, CEO of the Penguins organization, announced Friday morning the firing of general manager Ray Shero.

Initial reports of Bylsma’s firing posted by TSN were incorrect. However Morehouse said the new general manager will determine the future of the entire coaching staff.
