Pa. Ready to deal with MERS

Health officials say virus not likely to make it here, but they're ready.
HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA - State health officials say the chances of MERS making it to Central Pennsylvania are low.

But Pennsylvania's  Physician General said Monday that the State Health Department is more closely monitoring respiratory infections and has the capability of testing for MERS.

However, it will only process cases where there's a signficant possibility of  MERS, such as a patient who's made a recent trip to the Middle East or  has been in close contact with someone who's been there.
