Overnight Forecast Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014

Grey and cool weather will be with us for the end of the week.
Updated: Wednesday Night, April 2nd, 2014
Reported by: Chief Meteorologist Joe Murgo

A stronger disturbance will track toward the region on Thursday. The day will start off with spotty rain and drizzle, mainly south of I-80. As the disturbance draws closer we'll have a steadier rainfall develop Thursday afternoon and continue into Thursday night. Friday will still be unsettled with showers, perhaps even a thunderstorm as a new front approaches the region. Behind that front the weather will improve for the weekend. There still may be a shower in places Saturday; otherwise, we'll have a mix of clouds and sunshine with a gusty breeze. A bubble of high pressure will give us a nice day with a good deal of sunshine and temperatures pushing into the middle, perhaps upper 50s. Once again that break will not last long. Another storm system will return rain to the area Monday. Rain showers could even mix with snowflakes through the middle of next week.
