No Shoes in the House!

Will it protect you from germs and disease?
Does leaving your shoes at the door of your home, keep you healthier? Experts told the  Wall Street Journal, your shoes track in  mud, dirt, bacteria, viruses like E. coli and fungi that can bring on warts or athlete's' foot.

But, your risk of catching anything from what your shoes track in, is very low. The germs would have to come in contact with a cut on your skin.

However,  if you have a baby  who's crawling , consider having a shoe-free home because your baby's prone to pick up little pieces of dirt and eat them.
