LOGAN TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY - Someone new could investigate another local hazing investigation linked to a college student’s suicide. The family of the teenager is asking the State Attorney General's Office to take over the investigation.

Marquise Braham killed himself by jumping off of the Long Island Marriott Hotel while home for Spring Break last semester. His family says they found evidence on his cell phone that he killed himself because of hazing incidents in his Penn State Altoona fraternity; Phi Sigma Kappa. Braham pledged in fall of 2013 and became the secretary of the fraternity.

Investigators say on his phone there were pictures of a blind-folded young man with a gun to his head. And he talked about a hazing incident where pledges had to choose between snorting a line of cocaine and being assaulted with a sex toy.

The Logan Township Police were investigating the incidents because they happened at an off-campus house. His family says they have done a great job but they think the State Attorney General's office has more resources to investigate and prosecute the case.

And official request is being transferred through the Blair County District Attorney's Office.

His family is also calling on the governor to make hazing a felony.
