EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY -- An accused killer in Cambria County will face trial as an adult later this year.

Brittany McCoy is charged with the January stabbing death of Bruce Dickerson. McCoy is 18-years-old now. She was only 17 at the time of the murder.

Her lawyer previously filed a motion to have the case heard in juvenile court. But after a psychological evaluation, attorney Tom Dickey has withdrawn the motion.

Dickey has said the stabbing was in self-defense. Jury selection is scheduled for October.
