"Mud": The Pottery Exhibition Comes to Bedford Gallery

Pottery from 9 artists, famous and up & coming, to be featured at Locality Gallery in Bedford.

"Mud" is an exhibition of 9 exceptional contemporary potters. A few are internationally acclaimed, others are well known in the region, and others are up and coming talents.

On today's show, Michael Corle from Locality Gallery talks about the exhibition and some upcoming gallery events.

"Empty Bowls"
An international grass roots effort to fight hunger. The basic premise is simple: potters, crafts people, educators and others work with the community to create hand-crafted bowls. Guests are invited to a meal of soup and bread and in exchange for a cash donation, keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.

The money raised benefits Bedford County Food Bank's 6 pantries: Bedford, Everett, Hopewell, Hyndman, New Paris and Woodbury.

The county pantries serve over 3,000 individuals monthly.
