Saturday will be mostly cloudy with showers. The showers will be more numerous in the morning hours and west of I-99. There can also be a rumble of thunder in places, but any thunderstorm activity should be isolated. With the clouds, showers and an easterly flow from the Atlantic, temperatures Saturday will have a tough time rising from the upper 60s to the lower 70s. Despite the lower temperatures, it may not feel quite as cool as recent days as it will turn more humid. Clouds will break for partial sunshine at times on Sunday and it will turn a little warmer and more humid with highs in the 70s to near 80. There will be a shower or thunderstorm in places on Sunday. While not every spot will be hit, places that do get some rain could have a heavier downpour. Warm and humid air will continue to win out as we head into and through next week. Monday and Tuesday will be warm and humid with a mix of hazy sunshine and clouds. There can be a couple of isolated drenching thunderstorms each afternoon but most spots should stay rain free. Temperatures each day will reach into the lower to middle 80s and the nights will be muggier with lows in the 60s. Wednesday will be quite warm and humid with some hazy sunshine but also scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. There will also be more numerous showers and thunderstorms on Thursday as the next front approaches the region. Behind the front there will only be a slight reduction in heat and humidity Friday with some sunshine and highs in the lower to middle 80s. The next weekend looks seasonably warm and humid.
