Snow showers and a snow squall will move through today, combined with the wind could make travel difficult.
Updated: Saturday morning, January 25th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

Snow showers are going to move through today, with a snow squall moving through in the afternoon/evening. Be aware for some blowing snow Saturday as well with high temperatures in the low and mid 20s. Accumulations from one of these squalls may be more than what will be seen from the snow showers, and will be delivered quickly. Valley spots could see 1-3” snow while higher elevations could get 3-5”. These numbers really depend on how fast the snow squall moves through, so don’t be surprised if you end up on the higher end of the estimates. Sunday will start with a mix of clouds and some sunshine, but clouds will increase before the second clipper arrives late, bringing another round of snow showers to start the work week. High pressure will move in early next week, keeping the arctic air around. Toward the end of next week, temperatures will start climbing out of the single digits and closer to seasonal.
