Early snow tapers off.
Updated Monday Morning, February 3rd
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

A storm system is passing to our south early today.  Morning snow will taper off to just a few snow showers by the midday.  The clouds may even break for some sun during the afternoon.  The heaviest accumulations will be south of Route 22.  Totals south of Route 22 and along the MD border could be as much as 4-8 inches.  North of Route 22, an average of 2-4 inches is likely with a few locations receiving a little more.  Tonight will be partly cloudy with temps in the mid to upper teens.  As an easterly windflow starts to set up, we'll have some fog possible late then clouds will thicken during the day tomorrow ahead of the next system which will bring snow or a heavier wintry mix going into Wednesday. The second half of the week will be cooler with highs in the mid and upper 20s.
