Match 6 Jackpot Continues Growing

No one has matched all six numbers since May 13th.
MIDDLETOWN, DAUPHIN COUNTY – Pennsylvania Lottery players have another reason to look forward to Labor Day: after rolling again last night, the Match 6 Lotto jackpot has grown to $4.8 million for the Monday, Sept. 2 drawing.

Match 6 Lotto has enjoyed a red-hot summer jackpot run. The current run started after one ticket matched all six winning numbers in the May 13 drawing.

While the jackpot has been building, millions of Match 6 Lotto players have continued to win prizes. The game has awarded more than $10.5 million in prizes through more than 2.8 million winning tickets since mid-May.

More than 143,800 Match 6 Lotto tickets won prizes totaling $540,554 in last night’s drawing, including 58 tickets that each won $1,000.

This jackpot is the game’s third-largest on record. The largest was a $6.9 million prize won in the March 23, 2007 drawing.  The second-largest was a $5.8 million payout from the May 3, 2005 drawing.

The odds of winning the Match 6 Lotto jackpot are approximately 1-in-4.6 million, among the Pennsylvania Lottery’s best odds of winning a multimillion-dollar jackpot.
