Man Pleads Guilty to Pharmacy Robbery

The man's partner in the crime killed himself after an armed standoff.
CLEARFIELD, CLEARFIELD COUNTY – A Clearfield man has pleaded guilty to robbing an area pharmacy of more than $15,000 in drugs.

Brett Middleton faces 8-16 years in prison when he is sentenced March 14th. According to court documents Middleton and Shawn Demko robbed Grattan’s Pharmacy in Philipsburg November 16, 2011 armed with pistols.

Police say they found the stolen drugs and guns on Demko’s property. Demko killed himself in late November after an armed standoff.
