LEARN 2014 Classes
Art in Motion
Students will use motion as inspiration to create art projects. We'll explore different ways to "act out" shapes and emotions with paint and work with a variety of art materials in non-conventional ways, just like modern artists such as Jackson Pollock! Dress for mess!
Wild, Wonderful Western PA
What kind of interesting discoveries can we make right here in our own backyard? From microscopic pond life to towering forests, students will examine our natural environment. By collecting samples and observing life forms, we'll discover the wild wonders of western Pennsylvania. Make sure to wear sunscreen, comfortable clothing and tennis shoes for this adventure!
From Page to Screen
Is a picture really worth a thousand words? We'll find out as students begin with a popular book and end with a movie! We'll examine film techniques like score, screen cuts, special effects, and lighting and learn how they can enhance the written word.
Ready, Set, GO!

We'll get fit with a variety of outdoor games and activities that are both fun and challenging! Join us for relay races, life size board games, a scavenger hunt, and more. Kids should wear active clothes for this session.
Ad Age
I want that! Did you ever say that to yourself after seeing a commercial? We'll use the latest technology to craft a commercial of our own. We'll explore the best ways to appeal to an audience in a short amount of time and discover how to enhance messages with sound and video.
