Large Recyclables Being Collected

People will have a chance to drop off larger items and tires at an upcoming event.<br>
ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - If you've got some big things you need to recycle, it's time to head out to the ball park.

Three environmental groups are partnering to collect those items May 4th at People's Natural Gas Field, home of the Altoona Curve.

They will collect your old big clunky electronics like computers, TVs and microwaves. There will a small fee to drop off tires. Car tires will cost $2, tires wider than 14 inches will cost $12, and tractor tires cost $20.
