Keystone Kitchen: Mozzarella Sticks

These homemade mozzarella are perfect for an after school snack or if you're hosting a party.


2 Cups Flour
4 Eggs
2 Cups Seasoned Bread Crumbs
1 1/2 cups Vegetable Oil
1 Bag of String Cheese


Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat.
Unwrap all the string cheese, and cut each stick in half.
Separate the flour, eggs, and bread crumbs into three separate bowls.
One at a time roll the cheese stick in the bowl of flour, dip into the egg yolks, and roll it around in the bread crumbs.
Place into the pan and brown evenly on each side.
Depending on how hot the oil is, it can take 2-4 minutes to brown each side.
Place on paper towels to drain the oil off and let cool.
