Jaramillo is NEC Golfer of the Month

Sophomore earned 2 top-ten finishes for the Red Flash in the first month of play.
SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY - Saint Francis University women’s golfer Taylar Jaramillo has earned Northeast Conference Women’s Golfer of the Month honors, it was announced Wednesday afternoon. The sophomore earned two top-ten finishes for the Red Flash in the first month of play. 
In SFU’s first tournament of the fall, Jaramillo finished with a strong second round, moving up four spots to seventh place. The sophomore shot a 153 at the Towson tournament and helped the Red Flash finish fourth among the 14-team field.
In her second tournament of the season, Jaramillo posted another top-ten finish, shooting a 154 to take the 8th spot at the Cleveland State Invitational. Jaramillo improved her first round score by six strokes and moved up 12 spots on the leaderboard during the final round to help SFU secure a second place finish.
Saint Francis returns to the links on Oct. 7-8 for the two-round Robert Morris Invitational.
