WASHINGTON, D.C. – The House of Representatives passed a bill Tuesday to raise the country’s borrowing limit with no strings attached.

The measure with mostly democratic support after Republican leaders decided not to attach any conditions to the bill.

The bill now heads to the Senate where it is expected to pass.
