Hollidaysburg's Pentoney Resigns

Pentoney's 196 wins are the most in the school's history.
HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY - After 14 seasons guiding the Hollidaysburg boys basketball program Mick Pentoney has resigned.

"It has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve as the head basketball coach for the last 14 seasons," Pentoney said.  "In my pursuit to find other career opportunities it is necessary for me to step down at this time."

Pentoney ends his coaching career at Hollidaysburg with 196 wins, the most in school history.  The Golden Tigers captured District 6 titles in 2006 and 2010 under Pentoney.
