Carrolltown Borough Police are looking for a driver who snapped a utility pole that knocked out power to residents.

CARROLLTOWN BOROUGH, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Carrolltown Borough Police are looking for a driver who snapped a utility pole that knocked out power to residents.

It happened Monday around 1:45 in the afternoon on Old Dutch Lane in the borough.  Witnesses told police a silver or gray colored pick up truck hit the pole snapping it before taking off.  The truck is believed to have damage on the front and the tailgate was hanging off.

The vehicle hit and snapped in half a telephone pole causing disruption of service for Penelec, Verizon and Comcast customers for hours and closed part of Old Dutch Lane for several hours.
