Hearing Continued For Bomb Threat Suspect

Stephen Jablonski was in court Tuesday but will have to go back again once his attorney reviews additional evidence.
EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Stephen Jablonski was in court Tuesday but will have to go back again once his attorney reviews additional evidence.

“You always want to be thorough when you look into cases,” said Defense Attorney Tom Dickey.

Dickey was hired to represent Jablonski who is accused of making a bomb threat at the Cambria County Courthouse back in April.  According to police it was allegedly to get his girlfriend out of her hearing.

The preliminary hearing was continued because Dickey wanted to review the video surveillance the prosecution has.

“There is video of the defendant buying a phone at Wal-Mart,” said Gary Jubas, Assistant District Attorney.  “The phone was never found but we have the box it came in.”

That is the phone prosecutors believe Jablonski used to make the call in to the 9-11 Center.

A new hearing date has not yet been set; Jablonski will remain in the Cambria County Jail.
