Gun Drawn During Domestic Dispute

Police say the 32-year-old threatened to shoot his girlfriend's father.
ROCKWOOD BLACK TOWNSHIP, SOMERSET COUNTY – A 32-year-old man was arrested Sunday evening after police say he pulled a gun on a woman’s father during a domestic dispute.

According to police John Tinkey, Jr. got into an argument with a 22-year-old woman around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at a house along Markletown School Road and punched her in the face.

Police say the woman’s 61-year-old father arrived to help get his daughter out of the house. Tinkey allegedly pointed a loaded pistol at him, threatening to shoot.

Tinkey was arrested at the residence and is in the Somerset County Jail on $100,000 bond.
