Green Tea + Exercise = Weight Loss

Penn State scientists say the combo could be a fat buster.

UNIVERSITY PARK, CENTRE COUNTY - Here's a possible new weight loss plan for you--green tea and exercise.

Penn State scientists say mice on a high-fat diet that consumed decaffeinated green tea extract and exercised regularly had sharp drops in their  body weight and significant improvements in their health.

The mice had a 27.1 percent reduction in their body fat, and an average 36.6 percent drop in abdominal fat. Researchers in the College of Agricultural Sciences suggest people could get  similar results.
