Good-Bye Gobblers Knob

Nearly 30,000 people headed to Punxsutawney for the annual Groundhog Day Festivities.
PUNXSUTAWNEY, JEFFERSON COUNTY - For 21 years, Jon Lovitch has made his way to Gobblers Knob for Groundhog Day. This year, he was joined by nearly 30,000 people.

Those crowds made their way into the town where businesses say they felt the effects.

Phil's Official Souvenir Shop says Saturday and Sunday they were very busy. They sold out of plush the bandana wearing plush Phils and out of the hats that look a little like the groundhog.

Fox's Pizza in Punxsutawney was open for 36 hours straight. Between the Groundhog festivities and the big game the owner says it was a record breaking weekend for sales.
