If you need help identifying or diagnosis plant and insect specimens, bring them to the extension office, located on the second floor of the Blair County Airport (310 Airport Drive, Suite 9, Martinsburg, PA). Select fresh plant samples wtih intact parts, including flowers, if available. For diagnosis, bring a live sample that shows both healthy and unhealthy growth. Enclose live insect specimens and infested plants in an airtight container. If you cannot keep the insect alive, place it in a jar with aklcohol or freeze it for several days to preserve the speciment.
