Cold with some sun today.
Updated Friday Morning, January 24th
Reported by Meteorologist Regina Miller

Today will be partly sunny with a cold breeze.  Temps will only rise into the low to mid teens.  Tonight temps will hold steady ahead of a front.  Lows will average around 10.  Areas of snow may start to develop in western parts of the region by daybreak.  It will become windy with numerous snow showers that could drop a few inches of powdery snow, and as an Arctic front moves through winds will pick up and there could be a heavier, blinding snow squall in the afternoon.  Be especially careful on open roadway for sudden white outs.  Winds will be gusty and snow may be blowing back across the roadway.  Temps will be in the mid 20s.  The cold air will be a little reinforced Saturday night into Sunday and another disturbance will bring snow showers Sunday into Monday. Behind that disturbance, the arctic air will strengthen its grip on the region as we head into the middle of next week. The good news is that later next week, temperatures will return to near average with some sunshine.
