Friday Midday Forecast, July 25, 2014

Sunglasses needed today...an umbrella for late weekend.

UPDATED FRIDAY MIDDAY, JULY 25TH

REPORTED BY METEOROLOGIST REGINA MILLER

PLENTY OF SUNSHINE WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO CLIMB INTO THE MID TO UPPER 70S THIS AFTERNOON.  HUMIDITY WILL BE COMFORTABLY LOW.  BE SURE TO GRAB THE SUNGLASSES AND SUNBLOCK IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE OUTSIDE FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME.   TONIGHT WILL BE COOL AS WELL WITH NICE SLEEPING WEATHER.  LOWS WILL BE IN THE 50s.  SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLEAR EARLY WITH A FEW PATCHY CLOUDS LATE.  SATURDAY WILL FEATURE A MIX OF CLOUDS AND SUNSHINE.  HIGHS WILL START TO CREEP INTO THE LOW 80s.   A WARM FRONT WILL SLIDE EAST OUT OF THE OHIO VALLEY LATE SATURDAY, AND THAT COULD SPARK A STRAY SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM LATER IN THE DAY, BUT MANY LOCATIONS WILL REMAIN DRY DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS WITH A BETTER CHANCE FOR A SHOWER OR STORM BY EVENING OR OVERNIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE DRIFTS EASTWARD ALLOWING THE WEATHER PATTERN TO BECOME UNSETTLED ONCE AGAIN AS A SERIES OF DISTURBANCES APPROACH THE AREA BEGINNING SATURDAY EVENING...AND CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY. A DEEP UPPER TROUGH WILL MOVE INTO THE EASTERN US NEXT WEEK BRINGING ANOTHER SHOT OF UNSEASONABLY COOL TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION.  MONDAY CLOUDS WILL BE AROUND WITH PERHAPS JUST A FEW BREAKS, BUT THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS OR A THUNDERSTORM AS A FRONT MOVES THROUGH USHERING IN MUCH COOLER AIR FOR NEXT WEEK.  TEMPERATURES BY TUESDAY WILL ONLY BE IN THE LOW TO MID 70s WITH SOME LOCATIONS TO THE NORTHWEST STRUGGLING TO BREAK OUT OF THE 60s.  WITH COOLER AIR ALOFT, CLOUDS WILL BLOCK THE SUN MUCH OF THE AFTERNOON, AND THERE COULD ALSO BE AN INSTABILITY SHOWER AROUND.   JUST A REMINDER THAT YOU CAN ALWAYS HEAD TO OUR WEBSITE, WEARECENTRALPA.COM FOR THE MOST UP TO DATE FORECAST ANALYSIS, ALONG WITH OUR REGIONCASTS WHICH BREAK DOWN THE FORECAST FOR THE SPECIFIC AREA IN WHICH YOU LIVE.
