Fourteen confirmed dead in Washington mudslide

Crews are searching for more than 100 others after Saturday's mudslide
OSO, WASHINGTON – Rescue teams have recovered six more bodies from the rubble left by a massive mudslide in western Washington, and are searching for more than 100 missing people.

According to our news partner KIRO, Officials are working from a list of 176 people, but stress it could include duplicate names.

The mudslide smashed through a rural area near Oso, a community about 55 miles north of Seattle Saturday morning. The debris blocked a mile-long stretch of state highway, and is causing minor flooding of the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River.
