Four-year-old accidentally shoots, injures younger brother

The two-year-old was shot in the face and taken to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
WAYNE TOWNSHIP, CRAWFORD COUNTY – State Police in Meadville are investigating a shooting incident involving a 4-year-old and his 2-year-old brother.

State Police say the incident happened around 1:45 p.m. Monday at a home along Sugar Creek Lane in Wayne Township near Cochranton. Police say a 4-year-old was playing with a loaded small-caliber handgun when it went off, shooting his 2-year-old brother in the face.

The 2-year-old was taken to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. No word on the child’s condition.

So far no charges have been filed.
