Four cars damaged in car hauler fire

The driver noticed the fire when he pulled in to a local truck stop for gas.
BROOKVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY – Police have released new details in a hauler trailer fire in late June.

According to a State Police, the fire began around 4:45 a.m. June 26th at the Flying J truck stop. The driver told police he noticed the fire when he pulled in to get gas. The driver moved the trailer away from the pumps and called for help.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames. Four cars and the hauler were damaged. The cause of the fire has not been released.
