Fall Apple Crisp

It's fall and there's nothing better than the smell of apples cooking. Lisa Treese joins Angie this morning to share with us her yummy apple dessert recipe.
It's fall and there's nothing better than the smell of apples cooking. Lisa Treese of Duncansville joins Angie this morning to share with us her yummy apple dessert recipe.

Ingredients:
2 cups quick oats
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups flour
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
10 large apples

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F.  Peel apples and chop into chunks. Place chopped apples into a 13" x 9" glass dish. In a large bowl stir oats, flour, brown sugar. Melt butter and pour over mixture. With your hands mix melted butter and dry ingredients together. Once you have combined these ingredients, add cinnamon to mixture and stir. Pour mixture evenly over apples. Bake for 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
