Evening Forecast, Sunday May 4, 2014

Showers will come to an end this evening with patchy fog as we go into Monday.
Updated: Sunday evening, May 4th
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

Showers have been moving across the northern portion of our viewing area today while locations to the south have seen a mix of sun and clouds. The showers will end later this evening and wind will diminish during the overnight hours as temperatures fall into the 30s. There will be some fog as we start Monday, but there will be some sunshine as we go through the day. A disturbance will go brush past us to the south Monday afternoon, bringing some showers to locations mainly along and south of the Turnpike. The unsettled pattern we’ve been in will falter a little going into the middle of the week and we warm into the 70s, but there is the chance for a few showers in the afternoon and the occasional rumble of thunder.
