Snow showers will return during the overnight hours.
Updated: Sunday evening, February 2nd
Reported by: Meteorologist Steve Newton

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow indicating six more weeks of winter, and winter weather will return this week. Temperatures will fall into the 20s during the overnight hours as a system will move past us to the south. Locations near and south of the turnpike will see the greatest snow from this system, but near I-80 some spots could just end up with a coating of snow. The majority of the snow will be in the morning, with a few snow showers and flurries left over by the afternoon. There will be a break Tuesday with a mix of clouds and sunshine, but clouds will thicken late Tuesday ahead of the next system which will bring a mix of snow showers and freezing rain going into Wednesday. The second half of the week will be cooler with highs in the mid and upper 20s.
