A few clouds are mixing in with the sunshine today, with temperatures reaching the mid 70s to around 80 degrees. Humid air is moving into the region, and although there is a chance for a few showers developing this evening, many locations will stay dry. Clouds will increase later tonight, with a few showers reaching the Northern Tier and Laurel Highlands in the early hours of Sunday with temperatures falling to the low and mid 60s. As we go into Sunday, we will be ahead of a cold front that will bring another round of cool air for next week, but as the front moves through there will be the potential for strong or severe thunderstorms. Sunday will be warm and humid with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day Sunday, but there will be times where locations are dry and have a little but of sunshine. Some showers and thunderstorms will move through Sunday night into Monday, but we will have some showers linger as yet another cool air mass moves into the region. We will have highs in the low to mid 70s Monday, but as the cooler air takes hold Tuesday some locations will only have highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. There will be a fair amount of clouds that will develop Tuesday, but we will be staying dry. The majority of communities across the region will get back into the 70s Wednesday, and temperatures will climb closer to 80 degrees by the end of the week and first day of August. As the new month starts, the chance returns for a few showers or thunderstorms to develop.
