A slow moving upper level low pressure system continued to dominate our weather today and will continue to keep us a bit unsettled through the weekend. We had more clouds than sunshine today. Thanks to clouds keeping temperatures down enough, there wasn't too much in the way of pop up showers or thunderstorms. There may be a stray shower tonight; otherwise, we'll have a partly to mostly cloudy sky tonight. Lows will be in the 40s. A piece of energy rotating under the upper level low will help to give us a little more in the way of scattered showers and thunderstorms Saturday with more clouds than sunshine. This will help to keep temperatures in the 50s. Sunday will also feature more clouds than sunshine with scattered showers and thunderstorms, but dry air will start to push in Sunday night. Monday into Tuesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine. There will be a chance for a shower or thunderstorm either day, but most of us should be rainfree. Temperatures will reach to near or just above 60 on Monday and then into the middle 60s on Tuesday. Even milder air will push into the region later next week, but it won't come without the chance for some showers and thunderstorms Wednesday into Thursday, but at least temperatures will bounce back into the 70s.
