Does Soda Cause Bad Behavior?

New study says soda makes kids aggressive.

Researchers say the more soda a child drinks the more likely he or she is to become violent. A Columbia University study found 5-year-olds who drink four or more soft drinks a day are twice as likely to get into fights and attack people. That's about four percent of children.

Doctors say soda may also increase attention problems. Study author Dr. Shakira Suglia says 43-percent of children in the study drank at least one soda, and even that amount could make kids more aggressive.

The American Beverage Association disputes the findings, calling it a leap to suggest soda causes behavioral issues.
