RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Some residents have concerns over a busy intersection they say has a lot of crashes.

It was shortly after 12 Tuesday when police said a pick up truck ran a red light hitting another car.

“Both drivers were taken to the hospital,” said Officer Steve Beblar.  “The one was hurt more than the other.”

The truck flipped over on its rood trapping the driver.

Some residents who work in the area said this isn’t the first crash they’ve seen at this intersection.

‘I pulled up shortly after the accident happened,” said Jesper Nielson.  “There is no turning light it is really dangerous because people are always pulling out.

“This is a bad intersection,” said Beblar.  “We have a number of accidents here.”

“I hope the do something so these accidents stop happening this is the second in a week,” said Nielson.

Beblar said the driver of the truck will face charges for running the light.
