Corbett Announces Alternative Fuel Incentive Grants

School districts and municipal authorities are among those eligible to apply.
HARRISBURG, DAUHPIN COUNTY – Governor Corbett announced Tuesday the Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant (AFIG) program will open March 1st.

Under the program $8 million in grants be available for the purchase or conversion of alternative fuel vehicles.

School districts, municipal authorities, political subdivisions, incorporated nonprofit entities, corporations and limited liability companies or partnerships registered in Pennsylvania are eligible to apply.

The grants are due May 30th by 4 p.m. Grants will be awarded in the fall.
