Community Sprucing Up Welcome Signs

New welcome signs are going up in one local community, thanks to residents.
EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY – New greeting signs are going up around Ebensburg in an effort to promote the borough.

The new signs were built and paid for by local community organizations. The Rotary Club was the first to sponsor the signs.
So far two have been built, and the borough hopes to put up at least three more.

“Any sign that welcomes you to town is a marketing effort,” said Borough Manager Dan Penatzer. “First and foremost it lets you know you’re in Ebensburg. It’s a branding; it’s a logo type of thing for the borough, the downtown district. It helps greatly with the marketing in the town.”

For information on how to sponsor one of the other welcome signs, please contact the Ebensburg Borough office.
