Now that marijuana is legal in Colorado, various unforeseen problems have surfaced. At least seven times this year, children have been hospitalized for eating marijuana infused products.
There have been problems with butane exploding while extracting hash oil. And federal agents have also indicted four people for money laundering.
There has also been controversy over the sale of marijuana edibles, sometimes easily mistakable for normal cookies or candy.
Colorado's certified adult burn center says it has treated ten people with serious injuries so far this year. Last year, it treated 11 people total and only 1 in 2012.
